The Irish American Pub

The word "pub" originates from the term "public house" which references a community gathering place or focal point within the community for socializing and sharing stories, though there are many American-ized examples in NYC, it’s hard to find locations with an authentic UK look that feels modern and lived in, while maintaining historic details.

The Irish American Pub and Restaurant on John Street in the financial district is a great place to hide out if the market goes south or conversely a great place to celebrate! This large downstairs space is a serious drinking bar and also serves good solid food. The Irish American hosts fans daily to watch their favorite teams, but is known as a haven for Liverpool fans. This below street bar boasts a classic pub look and is a generous sized space for holding and catering in the Financial District.
